Features
Woofers: Each woofer uses an aramid fiber interlaced injection-molded polypropylene (IMPP) cone. This process of cone molding assures a uniform thickness and the addition of aramid fibers adds rigidity to the cones.
Size Classification Note: Some manufacturers, including Pioneer, call this size woofer a 6-1/2". Because it requires a larger cutout than a standard 6-1/2" speaker, Crutchfield has traditionally referred to this size as a 6-3/4". Please refer to the Crutchfield Vehicle Selector to confirm fit in your vehicle.
Tweeter Mounting: The tweeters can be flush mounted or mounted behind a factory grille using the included housings. Once installed in either housing the tweeters will pivot, so they can be angled to optimize imaging.

Crossovers: The high pass crossovers are integrated into the included speaker wire and the low pass crossovers are integrated into the woofer baskets. Both are 6 dB/octave and the crossover point is 3 kHz. The two lengths of speaker wire each connect to both a woofer and tweeter. Quick slides connect to the woofer, a 40" output leg with integrated crossover (approximately 1/2" diameter x 3/4" long) connects to the terminals attached to the tweeter, and an 11" input leg connects to the source.
