This customer brought us his Huracán, seeking more bass in his music and a radar detector solution that wouldn’t compromise the car’s aesthetics. Here’s how we made it happen.

Adding More Bass

The 2021 Lamborghini Huracán is equipped with an 8” speaker in each door and a 1” tweeter on either side of the dash. But to get bass you can feel, we felt the best option was to add a subwoofer to the vehicle. The only problem now is space; this car is a two-seat spyder with very little room to spare, so we chose the Trulli Audio TD10s subwoofer. This subwoofer packs a punch with very minimal space needed. We were able to scan the vehicle’s passenger footwell and design an enclosure that gave us maximum space and utilized factory bolt holes in the car to hold it in place. We then 3D printed our enclosure and finished it off with a simple beauty panel with a hexagon design to match the interior of the car.

A Radar Detector That Goes Undetected

In a car with a top speed of 201mph, it’s crucial to stay alert while driving on the highway. Many people opt to install a radar detector on the windshield of their sports car, but who wants to have a dangling cord hanging from the windshield of their luxury vehicle? Not our customer! So, we hooked him up with the Escort Radar Redline 360ci. Not only is this one of the most advanced radar detectors on the market, featuring 360-degree laser and radar protection, front and rear laser jammers, and is made to be tailored to the car meaning no more dangling cords. We began by 3D scanning the bumpers, dash, and steering column to ensure a precise fit for our mounts. We utilized factory design cues to ensure that the radar detector blended seamlessly into the vehicle’s aesthetics, staying hidden from view.

The Results?

Our client was thoroughly impressed by the meticulous details and exceptional craftsmanship of this project. He particularly appreciated the rich bass sound and the fact that it didn’t take up too much leg room for his passengers!
